Jenn and Marc Split
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s divorce is simply that, a divorce. While rumors of extra marital affairs were being used as a reason for this divorce, Marc Anthony assured everyone that this was not the case. A particular rumor of Marc having an affair with Jada Pinkett Smith, has brought about speculation of that also being the reason behind Will and Jada’s split. However, according to Marc, this is not true. He explained that Jada, himself, Will and Jennifer, have been friends for years. Jennifer’s and his divorce came about for no particular reason. These things just happen – to everyone.
Uncommited Becomes Committed
It is finally happening – after 28 years of non-wedded bliss –all time rocker, Gene Simmons, and his true love – Shannon Tweed – are getting married. In the season finale of his reality show – “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” – Gene proposed to Shannon. This came about after months of speculation as to whether Gene and Shannon would actually split. Shannon had been hinting at a break-up because Gene would not commit. No breakup – the children, Nick and Sophie – announced the wedding, and as they put it – “there will not be a Team Simmons or a Team Tweed, but Team Tweed-Simmons.”
Why
Netflix raised their prices. This is not a new story, but it has affected thousands of Netflix subscribers. Why did they raise their prices? Most likely for the same reason every other company raises their prices – the economy. When Netflix first offered their streaming and DVD rentals, they did not take into account how many people would want mail ordered DVDs. Mailing a DVD is costing them 75 cents a disc, while the streaming is running five -ten cents. With a base of 23.6 million subscribers, this adds up to quite a bit of postage. A business is a business.
